My Daddy's Girl

My Daddy's Girl, mixed mediums

I am my daddy's girl
a fraction of his face
gracing my very own

the eyes and lips
that speak the same image
the airs and mimics
that mime the same meaning

So I am, my daddy's girl
a portion of his soul
living in a pool of my own

through minds
through dreams
though hopes
by heart

Yes, I am my daddy's girl
a fragment of the moon
shining the same light as his own.

I love you, Dad.
Always.

Hello dear friends.

I'm sorry I have been very silent these days. I have so much on my plate and time is not being very generous for me to do everything all at once. Other than life in general, my Dad has been ill and I haven't been able to think about other things because of the situation. Thank you for all the kind considerate e-mails and messages many of you have sent me, I am deeply touched.

I hope to visit your blogs whenever I get the chance. I miss you all so much.

Many hugs, Amalia, oxox
